Jesus Christ Statue in Galtellì. Located on top of the “Tuttavista” Mount (864 metres ASL), this statue is 10 metres tall. Made by one of Europes most influent sculptors and Director of the Fine Arts Institute at the University of Madrid, Spain, Professor Pedro Angel Terron Manrique.
NATURAL MONUMENTS
This stone (petra) is 10 km away from the town of Galtellì. It's basically a 40 metre high wall (at 636 metres ASL) of the Tuttavista mountain with a huge almost round hole.
This arch in the mountain gives you a stunning overview of the "Oddoene" valley in Dorgali, and the wild gorge of "Su Gorroppu".
ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES
House of the "Fairies" or of the "Witches" are a type of pre Nuragic chamber tombs. They consist of several chambers quarried out by the people of the Ozieri culture and subsequent cultures, resembling houses in their layout.
This Holy Complex is located on Mount "Senes" (Irgoli) at 862 metres ASL, built in the Nuragic age.
GULF OF OROSEI
Orosei's main attraction is of course its magnificent sea. In almost 20 km of coast, there are astonishing beaches and cliffs. The most known are: "Sa Curcurica", "Cala Ginepro", "Calaliberotto", "Sas Linnas Siccas", "Foche 'e Pizzinna", "Marina di Orosei", "Su Barone", "Osala", Cartoe" and obviously "Bidderosa Oasis" a nature reserve that will captivate you from first glance.
